LIBRARY BOARD TRUSTEE POSITION

Position Title:      Library Board Trustee

Accountable To:  The residents of the Village of New Haven and Lenox Township

Duties:

• Attend and participate in all board meetings;
• Read board meeting minutes and other materials distributed before the board meeting;
• Become informed about all phases of library operation;
• Advocate for the library in the community;
• Serve on committees as assigned by board president;

Position Requirements:

• Must be a registered voter from Lenox Township or the Village of New Haven;
• Appreciation of the library and a desire to provide the best possible library service for the community;
• Willingness to be a team player;

Hours:

• Approximately two hours a month;
• This position includes board meetings scheduled for the third Thursday of each month;
• This is a volunteer position with no pay;
